Discovered a good stack --> Sky Blue into EGDM

Postby Eskimo_Joe » Wed Apr 09, 2008 8:26 pm

If any of you guys happen to have a Sky Blue and an EGDM, I found this combination to be a great distortion.

Setting

Sky Blue
V = 9 o'clock
Z = 9 o'clock
Texture = 9 o'clock
Distortion = 11 o'clock

EGDM
V = 10 o'clock
Voice = 11 o'clock
Distortion = Noon

With guitar on bridge pickup, this delivers an aggressive full-bodied modern-ish distortion -- arena rock guitar god type tone.

in some ways I think the SBOD is closest to the EGDM in basic distortion flavor (if I had to pick up ) it goes in different directions and covers other territory - but there is some green in that blue ... :mrgreen:
