Low to low-medium gain into clean, high headroom amp, mainly single coils. With the Model D, am I going to just have too much gain on tap? Am I better off with the Model G or Bee?
Just curious from those in the know.

If you are open to other pedal alternatives, I would highly recommend the BBOD. At 12V, the pedal sings through such a set-up as yours. Baby Blue is my favorite BJFE creation, and it has great rock and blues tonalities. A great thing is the availability from Bearfoot FX at a nice price point: http://www.bearfootfx.com/store/overdri ... od-3-knob/.

Cheers.

Never tried raising the voltage to 12v on my BBOD. It's a v1 though. Anyone know if there's any reason not to try this? Can't find the info in the library.
rockeroo wrote:Yep. Stated voltages are found on this site...
Info: BJFE Pedal Voltages by Model ... Baby Blue Overdrive (BBOD): #001-100 7.5V-15V; #100-500 7.5V-18V
I have never gone higher than 12V, but I love what I get there. Absolutely a rock monster!
