I was able to try the H over the weekend at Craises house and I was just blown away. I did a comparision of the SYD and The H into my Richter 5E3 Tweed and was so impressed with the tones I couldn't beleive it. The tweed breaks up so early on its own but the H shines through the breakup and the notes stay true. I love the SYD (which sounds great into the tweed also)but I have to say the H was outstanding. I think its my favorite pedal from Bjorn that I have been able to try so far. I begged Craise to sell me his, but we know thats not happening. So if anyone else has one that doesn't work with their rig let me know. Or if there is a way to get on a list for one let me know when/how to sign up.

I had my second band rehearsal this evening since receiving the H. I have to say that the more I play it, the more I dig it. It was working really well for me tonight. Someone I think mentioned that you can play rhythm and lead parts without changing a thing when you have the H on and I totally agree. If there's one thing the H does really well, it's cut through a band mix. I gotta keep playing it.

I have to say that I'm still somewhat perplexed by the tone knob on the H. I like the tones I get from the pedal no matter where it's set, but it really doesn't make much noticable change to my ears. I can hear that something is happening if I play a chord, let it ring, and then move the knob, but when I step back and listen, it always pretty much sounds the same. Does that make any sense? It's definitely not a traditional bass/treble tone knob.

Interesting Warmth,,what is your setup again?
I just got mine in 2 days ago,, but Ive found the tone knob to be quite noticeable with Tele pickups
I could still hear a noticable difference thru either pickup, and also when playing single notes or chords.

I completely agree on the part that the H is great for rhythm AND lead. It is really, really useful compared to some pedals which are more situational.

Cabo ... I've been playing my Les Paul w/Fralin P90's recently. At least that's what I was playing last night at rehearsal. I'm running that through my board and into my Matchless HC-30.

Here are the H settings I was using last night:

Volume: Noon (lots of output ... love that!)
Tone: 10:00
Drive: Noon

I'm playing a strat through a plexi and I'm finding the H's tone knob is very noticable too! Hope that helps!

hey warmth,,,I see,,,I havent played anything but single coils with it,,,maybe they are more noticeable.?. I wish I had something to compare to the P90's,,maybe someone else can chime in.? :)

messed around a good bit with these setting this past week:
Vol 10
Drive 5(full CW)
Tone Full CCW-Full CW

Tele>many BJF's>MP amp
mostly a combo of both pick ups, but lead toward the neck tone more for the pedal settings I most liked. And now that Im thinking about it,,I will try it alone too,,not sure if the long chain was degrading any of the signal.

A nice amount of gain available even when drive is all the way down. Although I kept it all the way up for now. Didnt clean up as quick as say a cranked Folk Fuzz,,but did work out ok when I turned vol on guitar half way down.

Tone knob seemed to interact the same,,even when turning the drive knob. Almost like it was acting as a seperate upper mid booster.
Full CCW I notice a slight bass, low mid increase, especially on a neck p/up. I couldnt tell if this was an 'off' position for the T control? or just another different setting?
I tried to simulate/substitute the Tone control with actual BJF pedals(BPB RRB,SBEQ, PHumper) and had some decent results,,which made me think the H has a 2 in1 quality to it.

As it turns clockwise,,the first slightest move takes that bass/low mid increase out right away,,then it starts to gradually increase the upper mids..
The overall range was more apparent when playing on the higher frets and strings.
Full CW was my favorite position for the Tone knob. It allowed the sparkle to happen when the Drive is all the way up(again this may change when I try it by itself),,which was also my fav setting for Drive too. :D

So, I had rehearsal last night and decided to go with my Gibson 335 w/PAF humbuckers instead of the Les Paul and I could definitely hear what the tone knob on the H was doing a lot better. Must've just been the P90's in my LP weren't interacting that well with the tone knob. And, I have to say that, once again, the more I play the H, the more I just love it.
