I've been down the "operable but independent" rabbit hole before and the only way to make it truly work is also make the order switchable... and at that point you're better off with two separate pedals.

I say if there isn't magic 4th knob that can take the pedal from v1 to v2 then just make them separate boxes. Voting for the following names

.. V1 = sparkling orange
.. V2 = sparkling yellow

So I know you won't have anything definite as far as timeline but any idea on when this project would finally come to life? Are we talking weeks or months here? Gotta start saving my $$

I concur wholeheartedly Sir! I think it would be best as 2 separate pedals, the v1/Sparkling Orange and the v2/Sparkling Yellow

Love the idea of V1 and V2 seperately w/ out knobs (4th) and switches.

Whatever happens with this project COUNT ME IN!! I've always loved the SYOD v2 (the v1 didn't really have the same great sound on my rig).

Agreed, separate pedals. Would love to get my hands on a v1. Likewise prefer no 4th knobs

and separate pedals for the different editions seems wanted, though a custom edition would be nice, so those that can handle a switch would take advantage of having 2 circuits in one pedal.

kinda like one may work great for how your running things one day.......a few weeks later....the waters may part with the other circuit and a different setup.

Yea I like the idea of the 4th control as well to sweep between sounds / circuits. My rig changes and I want something that can adapt. It's nice finding something that's "just right" but it sucks realizing you cannot dial it in appropriately if anything changes. Really looking forward to the release of the Bearfoot whatever-its-gonna-be-called

Oooooo... this is exciting! I had v2 and have missed it since we parted ways. I would like the choice of both in one pedal but would also be very happy with a v2!!

i actually meant the fourth knob to be as another tailoring control like on the Beest, Beetch...other pedals etc.
A separate switch would be for changing between circuits, as from what i read earlier, that would be needed....the option for gradual circuit blending would not be an option in a one stompswitch pedal.

i dig how this thread has some life to it on here...it's nice to read some things going on.

Yeah maybe this is a bit confusing ,,,,

The combo pedal would have a fourth knob(actually a rotary switch) that would have 2 clicks on it - one for V1, then you could click the rotary and it would change the parts to V2 ( not unlike the FGC comp/sustain switch)

I do understand that many people might never use the other 'click/version' hmmm
