Hi,
I think I have most anything about Arctic/Snow White Fuzz on this forum while it may be on various threads.
Here goes a short resume:
I made the Snow White firstly for my own use and becuase I needed a fuzz or a new pedal for a Vintage Guitar show- that's what you show at Vintage guitar shows?
Anyway to do some research on this model some were made and research showed that many thought it was a bit bass heavy and now abot this time BJF VCF was transfered to MP line and became Snow White Auto Wha........ahum, I thought I needed a new name and some Arctic White Fuzzes were made using the same circuit but different name and this is also noted on this forum and I also had a conversation with Doc Rock and made some changes to the circuit and the schematic as I was building Smokey Orange Fuzz to make tonecontrol range a bit more useful and adjusting a few other things in the bass response.
Now a new batch was made called Artic White Fuzz with those changes and one could think it could end tere while some would then say that the AWF was a bit low gain so I made a higher gain version.
Lastly as I ran out of snow I made a few Arctic Light Fuzzes that were plain boxes with brushed surface.
And so finally I am debating what to do with this circuit and this winter we've gotten plenty of snow so now I've but to figure out how to put on the snow to the boxes before it melts and yes I tried without the lights
Have fun
BJ
