here's some good news for everyone!

Bjorn himself is gonna write a chapter that specifically talks about his circuit designs and his approach to working with discrete analog components -- this type of knowledge is rapidly becoming esoteric and arcane, as modern electronics is all about SMD's and huge IC chips.

so - for all of those who were wondering HOW the Mad Professor does what he does -- this is going to be an AMAZING chapter, and probably worth the price of the book ALONE :bjorn

my father worked with analog electronics since the early 50s, and helped develop the first "core memory", which later became RAM memory, and still knows quite a bit about this area of electronics, so I am going to have him proofread Bjorn's chapter, and perhaps clarify or expand on certain concepts or designs.

this book is getting exciting :pedallove

BObby, I see you were also a driver of the Opal GT. I learned to drive in one when I was 13! Loved that car.

no, that was the lead singer of my 80s band -- he had TWO of those Opel GT's, as well as a 68 Camaro, a 68 Stingray Corvette, and a couple other cars

i, on the other hand, had a CHEVETTE :laughing7 :laughing7 :laughing7

that's what happens when you are in your 20s and are not watching the money

Yeah love to see the BJ book --- might be the beginning of another book --- get some of the builders to do a chapter each - mabe a 20 questions kind of thing ....

Maybe you should serialize your book here --- like put a new partial story up each week or something .....
