here's some good news for everyone!
Bjorn himself is gonna write a chapter that specifically talks about his circuit designs and his approach to working with discrete analog components -- this type of knowledge is rapidly becoming esoteric and arcane, as modern electronics is all about SMD's and huge IC chips.
so - for all of those who were wondering HOW the Mad Professor does what he does -- this is going to be an AMAZING chapter, and probably worth the price of the book ALONE
my father worked with analog electronics since the early 50s, and helped develop the first "core memory", which later became RAM memory, and still knows quite a bit about this area of electronics, so I am going to have him proofread Bjorn's chapter, and perhaps clarify or expand on certain concepts or designs.
this book is getting exciting
