SWF 01 for sale

Postby occy » Mon Apr 26, 2010 11:48 am

I have a SWF 01 for sale. I am only offering it here for now and not on ebay. I hate to even sell this pedal it is in mint condition. I think it is worth????. My pictures are not the greatest. There are no scratches or chips on the top. only tiny chip are on the bottom where the screws go. I tried to take a picture but it was too small to show.

What do you think it is worth?

After my SWF went up on the bay a number of SWFs made it to being on sale. I suspect that's the only reason you're not seeing any action. That and that its tax season and people don't want to be spending more money after their tax bills :)

Good Luck.

I sold mine here for 575 a few months ago. If you want max bucks for it put it on ebay. Alternatively you can put it up for a reasonable price here and hopefully it will stay 'in the family' so to speak and more reviews will be written.
Good luck with it!
Cheers,
Sean

Setting a price is quite different to a low start auction, so it's hard to say what it's worth.
Then there's the question of what you can get for it today, which depends on many factors that are hard to quantify.

So, I would think it's worth at least $700 to $800, assuming that the $900+ sale is an outlier that relies on emotion driven
bidding to get that last $100, or that it had a valuable difference of some sort. Once people are into the auction for 7 or 800,
it's not so hard to "just go another $50" (we've all been there!). This is definitely the way you will get the most money for it.

Good point about the ebay fees, if you use ebay and Paypal for the sale, the total fees are now hitting 12%. So, if you
sold it on here for $700 paid by cash transfer/money order that would be pretty much the same as getting $800 on the bay.

Not much use I know, but some stuff to think about. :|

Yeah, save yourself the money from ebay and just list it here at 700$. The last one that sold on ebay was for 750$ and made from the same batch as yours (SWF #4 I think). So listing it here for 700$ will actually give you slightly more money than he got. Btw, before he was able to sell it at 750$ he had listing it at 850$ and 800$ a few weeks in a row. Good Luck but i'm sure that at 700$ here it'll sell pretty quickly.

I figured since this is number 1 it should be worth a little more than the last SWF that was sold here for 750.00. So if any of you guys get your tax rebates back and are interested in an outstanding pedal and want to make an offer let me know. :D

Oh crap! I completely forgot about 'Number 1' so yeah it should be worth more. Don't know what though.

Jeez, I really did make a huge mistake when my name got drawn to get one of these SWFs, but I didn't
have the money at the time, and didn't want to take it if I was just going to have to sell it soon after.

It wasn't sold here, it was sold on ebay so the seller got less in the end. Might even have included shipping with that. Last that sold was for a lot less ! Around 600.
