Setting a price is quite different to a low start auction, so it's hard to say what it's worth.
Then there's the question of what you can get for it today, which depends on many factors that are hard to quantify.
So, I would think it's worth at least $700 to $800, assuming that the $900+ sale is an outlier that relies on emotion driven
bidding to get that last $100, or that it had a valuable difference of some sort. Once people are into the auction for 7 or 800,
it's not so hard to "just go another $50" (we've all been there!). This is definitely the way you will get the most money for it.
Good point about the ebay fees, if you use ebay and Paypal for the sale, the total fees are now hitting 12%. So, if you
sold it on here for $700 paid by cash transfer/money order that would be pretty much the same as getting $800 on the bay.
