I played a BF Super Reverb for years as its still one of my favorite clean tones .... but you also hear every hair on every distorted note too
and I used the SBEQ with this with great success ...... the over all sound of the SBEQ is like putting in some greenbacks..... and it will improve ALL of your OD/Dist/Fuzz pedals performance with a BF Super....
An LGW would work really well stock with your rig as well if you want to stick to one pedal ....
Hi again,
Yes, I'm really looking forward to that Sea Blue EQ. Can't wait!
I got the Sky Blue yesterday and it still doesn't work with my rig. Now that I installed a Mullard in V1, which helps a lot with the harsh highs, the amp sounds really good and the Sky Blue wasn't at all as icey as it was last time. But now, using the humbuckers on my '73 Telecaster Deluxe, the tone lost all detail in the midrange and the attack was too slow for me.
Yes, I know, I'm picky! Sorry about that! I don't think the Sky Blue is for me. I'm glad there lots of other nice pedals in the MP and BJFe catalogues! I'm sure I'll find something.
