I don't know about that, but it has many great uses, and you rarely see one for sale where the seller didn't immediately regret it. I tried all kinds of clean boosts with my Strats and in the end I couldn't live with them as they were too bright or thinned out the basic tone. No so with the SBEQ, especially when run at 12 Volts, you can tailor your sound surprisingly well for a three knob box (of magic). It works great to boost your ODs, tame your fuzzes, post-dirt boost and even as an eq!

Hmm... yeah, I like mine 8)

What about the Sky Blue OD. Do you find it bright?

Ok, I have one on order. So the Sky Blue will be useless to me without the SBEQ?

No, but if you have a bright/brittle blackface sound with very detailed treble your distortions will be this way too .....

I played a BF Super Reverb for years as its still one of my favorite clean tones .... but you also hear every hair on every distorted note too 8) and I used the SBEQ with this with great success ...... the over all sound of the SBEQ is like putting in some greenbacks..... and it will improve ALL of your OD/Dist/Fuzz pedals performance with a BF Super....
An LGW would work really well stock with your rig as well if you want to stick to one pedal ....

Hi again,

Yes, I'm really looking forward to that Sea Blue EQ. Can't wait!

I got the Sky Blue yesterday and it still doesn't work with my rig. Now that I installed a Mullard in V1, which helps a lot with the harsh highs, the amp sounds really good and the Sky Blue wasn't at all as icey as it was last time. But now, using the humbuckers on my '73 Telecaster Deluxe, the tone lost all detail in the midrange and the attack was too slow for me.

Yes, I know, I'm picky! Sorry about that! I don't think the Sky Blue is for me. I'm glad there lots of other nice pedals in the MP and BJFe catalogues! I'm sure I'll find something.
