MP Registry?

Not that you need any more work to do Donner, :) but will there be a MP pedal registry? No problem if not, I just didnt think they would be numbered.

they are handmade - just not BJs hands

I guess we could track them as not everyone will know about t he registry.....

Hmmmm anyone have an opinion?

include them with t he BJFes?

separate registry?

no registry?

Well ... FWIW ... I see it like this. Even though BJ didn't actually build these pedals, they are his "children" nonetheless. I think it would be great fun to see where it could go, simply because there will be physically MORE of these pedals floating around the world. It would be kinda neat to see how big that registry could get.

BUT ... I do know that Donner does the BJFE registry manually himself. And that's enough work as it is, but it's still likely going to be an easier task because there are so relatively few of them in the world. Tracking the thousands of MP Pedals that will one day be floating around out there will likely be much more daunting.

Perhaps Harri, Eero, et al. at MP should do the registry and have it be a part of the MP website. Something where people could just type their info into fields and submit, where someone wouldn't manually have to update.

Just my two cents, but I would like to track where BJ's children go around the world. I think it would be fun!

Hi,

Harri's building the MP site and it will contain also a registry for MP pedals- that's seeing how much fun Don's work has brought to things like just serialnumbers, but really..yes there will be many more MP pedals than BJF pedals but true I also feel they in a way are my children too;) but it is a lot of work compiling numbers
Thanks

Yes, that's why it would be great if Harri were to somehow have the registry section of the website be automated ... I guess kinda like this site ... where you could just type information into white boxes and hit "submit." Then less work for those who would be charged with the task of compiling numbers.

Cheers,
