I'll donate my Folk Fuzz to the cause if there's any interest. This one's been around for a while so I don't know.
Much smaller collection than the days of yore . . .

i wish i had something rare or cool to contribute that i could let go of for a few months.......the tourbox is such a great idea. maybe newark will contribute something, which means the tourbox would stop by my place too 8) 8) 8)

i know what you mean, it's tough to let go of the ones that you use daily!

that's ok...we are gonna have a mini BJF party when you come over. george said we could film and use his stacks of hiwatts for some more pedal video madness. maybe even a few of his guitars 8) 8) 8)

any requests for specific pedals or stacks? i am gonna try to do more stacking and experimenting with all the flavors of BJF overdrive and distortion and fuzz that newark and i have together collectively. run the amps all loud and clean, and really let the pedals speak. we can get really loud at george's with no noise complaints or worries.

i wish i had something i could contribute to the box, but my pedals are on my working board, and i have a bunch of rehearsals this month, with gigs in feb/march (spring break time again down here), so my stuff will be on the job

THAT is a VERY interesting idea -- it would be very cool to compare various builds. maybe all vote the "best" folk fuzz build of all, and see who comes out on top?

i think ANYONE that builds one is a winner. I will be doing mine soon.....maybe in time for this!

I have also been gigging relentlessly so I might have to be out this time around. but, Slim and Newark, I'd like to request a video of the BBOD comparison with some other bjfe's at low gain. i haven't had the pleasure of playing one for a few years, and I'm pretty sure my gigs are closer to what Newark is into. When I first tried it, it was not what I was looking for (really i wanted a HBOD, but I hadn't figured that out yet...)

Its got my attention. needs further thought. not sure i can swing anymore pedals til after my wedding though. too poor lately.
