RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

can you believe that a fellow BJFE brother is sending me his "R" to play with? Along with his MGMV?????

I am not gonna call him out in public, but he knows who he is, and it was a very gracious offer, and I am gonna have a LOT of fun running the MGMV and the MP TOP together.

and now i will finally see what the "R" is all about as well 8) 8) 8) 8)

any new tour box reviews? I'd love to hear some more takes on things.

As of last week, I decided that I am back to play my SG instead of my ASAT. This decision has left me wondering more about the Model H. I think I missed its magic somewhere along the lines because of how into my ASAT I was. Hmm, perhaps it would be crunchier with an SG? Wouldn't say I'm haunted, just amused because it wasn't at all what I was expecting... hmmm...

Hi You guys! Got the box last week. Just gave them the once over so far (Thanksgiving weekend ws hectic) but I'm taking care of them...Thiscall...I can definitely see why you are looking for an syod. I like that one more than any other bjf and I'm a fuzz man, so that is sayin somethin for me...I compared the Model H in the tourbox to the one I just got and (big surprise) they sound exactly the same. But the CAF that (I own) and the CAF that Donner has in the tourbox sound a LOT different. Mine has much more "fuzz" effect to it, and the nature knob is much more sensitive. I thought maybe it was just me, so I hooked them up side by side and turned the fuzz all the way CCW on both, with the volume and nature both at nine o'clock. Donners fuzz had volume mine didnt. Mine sounds much more like Neil Young's "Rust"
IMHO...will do a final wrap-up review in a couple days...

Hello All-

Guys, since Thanksgiving things have been a couple days behind schedule for me, so I am going to ask you all to bear with me and allow me a couple more days. I plan on sending them back to Donner the first of the week, and I hope you all wont think too badly of me for this tardiness, but considering the Holiday I didnt quite get a full week anyway. If there is someone who absolutely must to have their pedal earlier, well, email me and I'll try to get it sent out early to you. Thanks guys!

the tourbox is a beautiful thing. thank you to everyone who contributed, and i am glad that i got to have a "date" with it.

the snow white fuzz still haunts me in my dreams, however

honestly, in my over 30 years of playing with effects pedals, this tourbox, this website forum, and BJF and Mad Professor are the COOLEST thing I have ever seen or heard in the effects pedal world.

that is all 8)

my CAF is pretty touchy as well. as you can hear from the video demo i did with SWF and CAF, the candy apple was a lot "hairier" and fuzzed out madness. i like it 8)

it would be interesting for someone to do a side by side comparison of the two versions of CAF....if i had KNOWN this when we had the tourbox, we would have done exactly that......
