Yep, it's the bi-annual "Why are BJF pedals so expensive?" thread.

To be fair, this one was started by a newish member, so it's a genuine question (maybe could have been put a little better).
If BJ chimes in there with his usual description of the way he prices stuff, the guy might feel a bit happier and
end up a good customer in the future. Although Nibus has already gone some way towards defending BJ's honour. :D

Yeah, I chimed in as well. I'm always amazed at how combative people can be over such silly things, towards strangers they'll never meet. Wow.

One of the drawbacks of web based communication - it encourages this sort of combat! If these guys, say next week, all met for a beer they would no longer crap on each
other on internet forums after that (well probably not).

i feel like saying to the TGP'ers STOP POSTING AND MAKE SOME DAMN MUSIC.

or as frank zappa said "shut up and play yer guitar".....

Now those could be seen as fighting words on some forums, and that tells you all you need to know!

I like TGP by and large. and way prefer it to HXC. HXC is a disaster in my humble opinion. The collective insight of TGP overall is totally worth being a part of. It sucks that their is a certain constituency that bashes on BJFE, lovepedal, etc. Its all just a matter of finding the right colors to inspire us and help us create our melodies and music. Theres alot of gear out there, and it takes a community as big as TGP to sort through it all.

That said, somedays its nice to have what we have over here. I chimed in a post on used resale prices and the current exchange right in that thread. Not sure why people are throwing hissy-fits when the prices are so reasonable used right now. 200 or under for a used LGW or MRD? They both play nicer than the fulldrive / OCD that you'll get new in that price range... sigh.
A delay addict with a taste for good drives.

I've never heard someone who took the leap of faith and bought a BJF say that they regretted it. That's all that really needs to be said. :)
