While it is a BIG HAIR family portrait, it is not me or my family...
I just thought it was an appropriate pic for where this thread was going.
Truth is, I'm way too old to have even considered sporting BIG HAIR.
I used to point my finger & laugh out loud at BIG HAIR, still do!!! LOL!!!
What were they thinking???

I'm more of a tie-dye or flannel shirt slave of fashion. I had long hair in the old days to cover up my red neck. LOL!!
But never in a million years did I have BIG HAIR!!!
Now I have very little hair left, and I couldn't care less...

It sure is fun to remember way back when though!
In many ways, I'm trying to remember the 60's, trying to forget the 70's, and the 80's.... I could go either way.
Big chubber neck = BIG TONE

me....1984 or so....THE X-STATICS......REM opened for US once 8)

Bjorn and I are like brothers of another mother......X-Statics were a pretty popular band in the southeastern US. we played EVERY major college in the south......nearly EVERY major club, the "A" circuit as they used to call it.

from left to right:

Johnny Luna, drums

Jon Allmightey, lead vox and synths

Bobby "Zoom" DeVito, guitar and vox

Tommy Gunn, our fourth bassist in four years. We went thru bassists like Spinal Tap went thru dummers :-)
