Awesome demos! Great playing/commentary & great camera work as well! :P

I really appreciate the 2 of you taking the time to make/post these video.

Those videos check-off alot of the bjfe pedals that I hadn't heard any sort of extended demoing of.
...the last bjf that I have yet to hear a clean sample of now is a Baby Blue OD...SOMEEONE SEND THESE BOYS A BBOD :!: ...
just kidding of course. Between these videos and the ones Donner has posted, we are starting to build a nice library of video-demos online. Good work all!

thank you all VERY MUCH for the positive comments.

Mike (Newark) was running the camera, and I like his style....he made sure to get a LOT of the pedal, and some of me, and always made sure to try and get the settings of the pedals as I changed them, which occurs VERY fast -- my ear processes sound pretty quickly, and I can USUALLY figure out how to dial in a pedal the way that I like within 60 seconds or less.

Yes Donner -- if we can find my brother a blue or red shirt in 2XL size, I might be able to talk him into wearing it -- but he owns a gym, and is a personal trainer, etc -- so he LIKES to show off all those muscles. Funny thing about him, he tested OFF THE CHARTS when it came to IQ as well. I love having him with me at gigs, he keeps things "under control"......

The pedal demos were done out of LOVE....I wanted to be sure to try them all, to give HONEST feedback, and to just have some FUN. And hopefully the demos can give some of those interested in BJF and Mad Professor series pedals a chance to hear what they can do.

I think the perfect production "loop" is this! -- BJ creates limited editions such as the H, CLiffhanger, etc......they all get tested by the forum members in good standing, with feedback, demos, reviews, etc.

The "winners" from those limited editions THEN get sent to Harri at Mad Professor to become an MP pedal.

I'm still on the fence about about the CLiffhanger -- as I told Bjorn, to ME the CLiffhanger sounded more like a Hiwatt to me than the model H did......it was not as EXTREME as I expected, but I really did like the basic tone of that pedal. It was dark yet bright......it was very distorted yet clean......it was the odd duck of the box......I would REALLY like to have one of those for a month, and take it to gigs and try it in "real world" gigs and situations.

SYOD is a total winner -- go ahead and send that one to Harri NOW! So I can get an affordable one 8)

Model H is a total winner too --

and the Snow White Fuzz is REALLY nice, the more I think about it, and listen to the demo, the more I realize just how beautiful that fuzz is. Don't get me wrong.......I love my candy apple....but to have the Candy Apple set to my favorite octave fuzz/ring mod madness setting, and then also be able to step upon the Snow White for a real nice fuzz "solo voice"......would be a very beautiful thing 8)

Mike (NewarkWilder) was a total joy to hang out with, and worked ALL DAY, and yet he still came over for the pedal party. OBAMA WON, and now the whole world can breathe a sigh of relief.....maybe one day the rest of the world will begin to trust the USA again.

Very cool Bobby/Mike ,,, its always fun to watch people dig into new pedals and especially comparing them in real time ....

this Tourbox sort of turned out to be the fruit of this years experiments and its really good to have honest live comparisons on t ape......

Theres another batch of interesting experiments on various back burners for the coming year so who knows what Bjorn will decide to pursue.... 8)

well, i will be looking forward to the next batch of tourbox pedals, and hope that our feedback will be useful to BJ and Harri in deciding what to do with the various new designs.

I sure did like the Snow White fuzz.....the more I think about it, and the more I listen, the more I like it!

that demo captured the magic of the SYOD man!

the sparkling yellow has a sharp edge to upper mids and lower treble. normally when guitarists say sharp they are derogatory, but with the SYOD its like a razor of clarity that cuts with such gorgeous precision and amazing tone... Bobby D, I had just about made peace with not having one when you posted these damnit.

I would say that you are entirely CORRECT -- there is a sharpness to the upper mids that I KNOW would cut thru a mix VERY nicely, especially if you have a darker sounding amp.

It seems to be to be the perfect complement to the LGW.....which is why I feel it deserves to be in the MP line....

But....I still yearn to try the BBOD as well 8)

BBOD kinda has a similar thing in the mids as the SYOD has in the lower treble. a dense section of mids with a good deal of asymmetrical clipping. interest tones, but better with a more neutral amp like a fender hiwatt then my voxes budda's or oranges.
