Donner, the videos are, as always, entertaining to say the least. Sounds like a lot of tonal potential in those little boxes.

Yeah t he 'creamy' one is glo in the dark with an odd treatment....... it looks pretty gnarly in person .... its first stop is Cabo


as always the problem with my finishes is that they dont photograph too well...........

like the red one all the dark red is actually glitter and shines but it doenst photograph that way....... anyway they all look more interesting in person so if you like the pic at al there is a nice suprise in person.......

....one things that interesting on these is they are all different --- each one has a different range of clipping options and EQ to optimize them...

so i may send them in pairs for comparison sake ........... with all the research Ive been doing its amazing just how much territory you can cover with any particular circuit....

you can make this circuit sound like anything between a screamer and a muff

Spent some quality time with it this week, both at home and onstage.

First thing -- construction inside it top notch, i like the way the PC board is made, and the solder joints look good. No battery option on mine? No big deal, plug it into pedalboard. But I like having a battery option in case i am going to a jam or something, and want to carry one special pedal with me just in case (usually DRD or SBEQ)

Due to the 6 way rotary switch in the middle, and four other controls, there are a LOT of options here.

I found my "happy place" with rotary switch all the way to the left, it seemed big, fat, and open there.

I then played with the other knobs, and dialed in a sound that was making my DRD a little nervous, heh heh

I used it onstage this weekend, especially for a few solo spots and things. It had a bit deeper tonality than my DRD or LGW, and since my amp is sorta darker sounding already, I had to tweak up the tone knob on the pedal to give it more "bite"

overall -- for $222 with a donner finish -- how can you go wrong? They will probably be $500 on ebay nxt year

My only constructive criticism on the pedal is OPTION ANXIETY. It does TOO MANY sounds......some i like, some I am indifferent to. BUT.........in the studio, when you are searchign for that "just right" rhythm sound, one that takes up a slightly different sonic space than the rest of the guitars, this pedal may really shine.

I am a caveman when it comes to onstage. I want one switch, 3-4 knobs, and one great sound to come out of the pedal.

The Full moon Fraternity reminds me of the Candy Apple Fuzz in that way. I love my Candy Apple, and it will do 3-4 different fuzz styles with a twist of the nature knob.

But for ME, I would rather have a snow white fuzz AND the CAF, with both set to the sound i like from them.

I am a SET IT AND FORGET IT kinda guy onstage. Too much stuff going on to mess with changing settings, except when i lean down and go crazy with my delay on certain songs, creating a wall of repeats and noise and general mayhem.

I think this pedal is a TOTAL WINNER, especially at the price of $222. Would I mind having one in my arsenal? Not at all. I think it would REALLY shine in the studio, when you need to get a variety of tones. And once you figure out what your fave stage sound is, just mark it with sharpie.

I have to do that with my SWAW and TOP as well, mark my setting with sharpie in case they get moved during transit.

So, that's my honest review. I didn't get one "free", I got one to test. I like it. I am not IN LOVE with it, but maybe it's not love at first sight. Maybe if I had it longer our relationship would deepen, I don't know.

You have to understand, right next to it I have the DRD and LGW.......so there is STIFF COMPETITION for my board space, and there is only ONE spot left open, and that is being held for an MP Deep Blue Delay. Harri, please please PLEASE send me one so I can not have to carry around my line 6 DL-4 anymore
