Bjorn told me, "the Nature control on CAF does crackle due to that it adjusts internal DC points." So your CAF is in good shape, rock on with no worries! 8)

Right the CAF is sort of crazy fuzzes greatest hits - there are at least 4 distinct fuzzes in that box - octave - gated - ring mod- variuos regular fuzz tones ..
whats really cool about t he CAf is you can get t he noise and dial out most of the fuzz which is cool to run into an overdrive or distortion -- make your own octave Rat or gated tube screamer ; ]

I am learning more and more about the CAF. so far, i have only used it live as s sort of "octavia" fuzz, with nature control set just a LITTLE bit away from 12 oclock on the dila -- say 11:58 pm -- it's a small spot, but it does it GOOD 8)

I have much to learn of the other three flavors. but it does seem it might be hard to switch between them easily at gigs...but no matter WHERE you turn it, it always sounds pretty damn good. this makes me as happy as some skreddy fuzzes i have had, where nearly any setting is so musical.

i NEED to stack this with an overdrive pedal, and the EGD isn't here yet..... :D
