Ok, I'm new here and I've got time to kill, so I'll play :D

Eskimo_Joe wrote:OK, we know we all love BJF pedals, but outside of that, we don't know much about each other. Here's an official unofficial survey to introduce yourself with:

1) Where are you from?

Just graduated and left Chicago, currently spending some time back home with my folks in Florida doing some work for Obama and sort of decompressing while I figure out the next move.

2) Favorite band of all-time?

Just one? Seriously? Ok. In a year I'll probably smack myself and say "its the Beatles, moron, you knew that," but I'll have to go with my namesake and say Pavement.

3) Favorite BJF pedal?

Honey Bee!

4) Something you refuse to do.

Whatever it was that Meatloaf wouldn't do for love. If Meatloaf aint doing it, count me out too.

5) Line of work (feel free to be vague if necessary). :)

Writer.

6) If you were stuck on a dessert island, what (1) CD would you take and what (1) magazine subscription would you have?

Revolver and one of the several essayist's journals I subscribe to. Not sure which one.

7) Funnest job you've ever had and why

Chicken Wing delivery guy in a college town. Among my tips... beer, weed, flashings....

8. What (1) piece of gear do you wish you had never sold?

Maybe my EHX HOG. I needed the $$ and didn't use it enough to justify keeping it, but it sure was fun to play around with.

9) Favorite ice cream?

Haagan-Daaz Vanilla Bean.

10) First R-rated movie you saw?

One of the Nightmare on Elm St. movies I think, no idea which.

11) Outside of relatives and religious figures, who would you most like to sit next to on a long plane ride?

Bjorn? That would be a lot of fun for sure :D But honestly, for me personally right now (and I hope minor politcal mentionings like this are ok) it'd be Barack Obama.

12) If you could be on a TV Show, which show would you want to be on?

Six Feet Under

13) Favorite season and why?

Last season. So I could experience all the wrenching pain and heartfelt love that life has to offer.

14) Hobbies aside from music related things?

Writing, politics, fantasy football. (SOON! YES!)

15) Favorite drink?

Mostly just water. For beer I'll take a Newcastle or a Guinness.

16) Biggest pet peeve?

People who absolutely have to assert themselves as the smartest person in the room at all times.

17) Where would you vacation if you could go anywhere?

New Zealand.

18. Mac or PC?

19) Favorite TV shows?

All time: Six Feet Under & The Wire. Currently on: Weeds, The Office, Colbert Report, Lost

20) Coolest thing you have ever won?

I don't think I've ever really won anything cool. You could say getting a DBD for $200 on Ebay was quite a win for me though, but a shame for the guy who sold it.
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

oh, i have a FEW.......but i have pretty much stopped doing cases and went back to music fulltime.

i DID NOT do "domestic cases, ie: I did not follow around cheating husbands and wives ala the TV show "Cheaters".

i focused upon fraud, insurance claims, child endangerment, missing persons, etc.

Bjorn just talked me out of going to Iraq as a "private contractor". It was 16,000 euro per month pay. I could buy a LOT of pedals with that kind of money, and I am DIRT POOR right now.

What can I say? The US military trained me well, and I have had a lot of private training in all sorts of "james bond" type stuff. And I have been a gun owner and "shooter" since I was 5 years old.

P.I. world is very interesting, but it takes over your ENTIRE life. I cannot do that job, and then do my gigs as well. So I had to say goodbye to that job, although it paid me 4 times what I make as a musician.

I still have a handful of state licenses and ID cards, and basically still have a "license to kill" as james bond would say......but i sincerely hope I never have to use it

but one thing i would say -- I LOVE MY GLOCK......and will never let go of that.
