Carry the Zero is another STL band with a cool name, IMO.

There used to be a band in Ottawa a LONG time ago called "The Randy Peters". Always much sniggering when some girl would ask " which one's Randy?"

some good local bands(not sure if still around) but I thought had good names were Devolver and Groovin Seed.

I was in a band once called "The Healthy Doses" hmmmm

There's a band here in Cincinnati called the Snow Shoe Crabs!

I have a short list of band names I thought up while cleaning my shop this morning.
The best one was Parting Out Father followed by Bent Member Doorstop or Gifted Gleaze Gobblers.
My experimental/Noisecore band, Yer Cunt Ate My Housefly.
Here in the San Fransisco Bay Area we get tons of new bands so each week I'll hear of at least 3 or 4 that I think are clever.
All girl AC/DC cover band called AC/D She.
The best band name by far was,TBA. LOL!
There's a Church of the SubGenius luminary whose website has a couple of pages of Prospective Band Names that are funnier than all gitout. I'll try and remember his name and post a link to the above mentioned site.
His name is Philo Drummond. Try a search for that.
Exceed your previous fun level,

Power Chords don't contain a third, so the maj&min qualities are not present. Heavy distortion adds harmonic content, and only perfect intervals have enough consonance to be clearly articulated at high distortion levels_DFunk
