Im much more selective these days but David Byrnre would be a good one, I think he was doing Brian Eno music this round.

I do have tix for Allman Brothers/Phil Lesh and Friends at Merriweather Post. Too many allstars in one show to pass it up. :D

I did pass on the TAB shows,,,I think Ill wait to hear some reviews first :|

Just saw a great Galactic show last Friday, so already anticipating the next one
Citizen Cope
Martin Sexton w/ Ryan Montbleau
Voodoo Festival (this Festival will kick ass!!! not quite on a Jazzfest level, but will still be amazing for sure)
Anticipating the good times of my weekly visit to Frenchman St where I catch multiple good acts while bar hopping
Soul Rebels
Trombone Shorty
All that coming up in Oct and there's probably 30 other shows during the month worth seeing that I won't be able to make it too
........................ New Orleans is concert heaven!

Thanks for asking Donner..... Loving it down here!!! Posted a Craigslist ad for musicians to start up a band locally and had about 20 responses in 2 days and about 15 of them were from really legit players worth at least getting together and jamming with....... chapman stick player, person w/ masters degree in jazz studies, loyola music majors, people w/ tons of gigging and touring experience, etc. Grad school is a ton of work, but it's definitely been a work hard play hard situation. I just love being in a city that revolves around music and good times............ as they say here, le bon ton roule, let the good times roll :)

ABB concerts are the best! Wish I caught that one. It's so crazy watching Derek and Warren together on the same stage, blows my mind every time. I'm heading out to a Black Keys concert tonight, should be great, I'm stoked :)

Oh yeah and sooooo stoked Phish is back too!!!!! Best news of the day. Saw them there after the last hiatus, good times
