Anybody play Guitar Hero????

I am not a gamer at all, but one of my co-workers had a party a couple weeks ago and had just gotten a Wii with Guitar Hero III. I was skeptical like every guitar player would be, but once the music came on I wanted to try. I have to say, it was blast! Admittedly, it's not apples to apples with playing a real guitar, but is was pretty fun and does require some of the same basic timing and dexterity.

I've tried it. I actually found that being a real guitarist hampered my ability to play the game and use their fingerings ... especially when I really know how to play a lot of the songs that are on there. Kids who don't know the first thing about real guitar kicked my ass on the game.

,,, I guess If you kind of kept t hem separate in your mind, like to completely unrelated instruments.....


I got to mess with t he Drum one in the store a couple times,,,, it is fun!

I have tried.........just once and realized that it is a different experience.........timing gets messed up for me.

Yikes I double suck at guitarhero........oh well it was fun anyway

I bought my girlfriend guitar hero for the play station 3-both versions... ........and i get to jam along with her....
