I highly suggest checking the demo out if possible.

zzpotato wrote:My current #1 is a guitar that at first glance you'd say, "what a piece of crap". It's an 80's Greco copy of a Ibanez Jem type guitar but with a standard strat trem and a SSH pickup configuration. On the headstock is written "Spirits of the Live", oh man, only in Japan can they come up with guitar names like that. I bought it on ebay for $185 shipped. The only reason I grabbed it was to try my hand at stripping the poly finish off and putting a nitro finish on otherwise I would not be drawn to this type of guitar. The finishing worked fine and it looks cool now. What i am so amazed at though is the quality of the parts- nice alder body, solid trem, nice Gotoh tuners, and an unbelievable maple on maple neck with med-jumbo frets. Much beefier neck than the Ibanez Jem. I put a pair of Kinman woodstocks in the single positions and a WCR Godwood in the bridge and presto, it's a killer. The guitar unplugged has that sound that you know will sound great through an amp, (the $400 worth of boutique pickups helps but still....). I have a handful of really nice guitars but honestly if someone said I had to go out on tour and could only grab one guitar I think this would be the one. Go figure!
Hey, here's a new thread idea; what's your best ghetto rig?
