Decals on PPF

I own PPF #0021 and have owned 8 other BJF pedals at one time or other. This PPf is the only BJF pedal that has decals on the side. The side by the input jack has a black decal that reads BJF EFFECTS Serial #0021. The front - side of the pedal decal reads Tahara Sound Distributors. Anybody know the story behind this.

Hi,

Tahara Inc was for a time japanese distributor of BJF pedals and they sold off their own outlet aswell as distributed to stores in Japan and parts of Asia, and because of this they put on stickers with their companyname Models carried by Tahara were BBOD,DRD,PPF,SYT.

Distribution of BJF pedals through Tahara Inc stopped when the japanese market saturated.

I'd find it highly unusual that any of the by Tahara Inc distributed pedals would find their way outside east asia.
