Anyone heard anything about how long 'til the VCF comes out? I hope soon, I need some funk.

MG,

I spoke with Harri a couple weeks ago and he said the prototypes were being worked. Don't know if they ran into any unexpected problems but anticipate they should be out in a couple months, likely sooner.

yeah I think BJ made a little tweek to the production circuit and it should be fully in the pipline now .... the Compressor shouldnt be far behind either -- yeah NAMM would be a nice place to show a new face....or two 8) 8)

Not to steer this thread off topic, but has anything been released as to whether the mp compressor is going to be based on the pgc? or whether its a beast of its own flavor?

well the quality of the comp will be similar - it will have some extras tho - it should still be a worthy mate to the MP LGW

quality meaning...?

will this still be a "leave on all the time" type of compressor or a more effect-type compression?

I'm stoked about this one, as I keep missing out on PGCs...

YEs I believe it will be as close to t he qualities of the PGC as can be standardized without BJ actually having to tweek it himself - plus it will have a sustain feature ~ able to add sustain without much compression artifact ....

BJ surprised me with my recent PGC, it's capable of more compression and sustain than my earlier one. Also, at various Body settings, it can sound somehow "bigger" if that makes any sense. Strangely, it's incredibly dynamic for a comp, almost feels like a clean, clear Honey Bee to me! If it's any hint of where he's headed with the MP Comp then it will be a guaranteed winner. I love how Bjorn can allow his pedals to evolve with tweaks and improvements, he could never be accused of resting on his laurels, that's for sure.
