I got my HB Dlx today. #3 of 20. I can't wait to try it out tonight. Here are some photos.
I am fairly certain the boost comes after the HBOD.

I use a Loop Master to take various parts of my signal chain out when they aren't needed. Currently, I'm using a Moollon signal boost in the very last part of the chain, which also acts as a buffer (even when it's not on). I like the Moollon, but I've wanted to try stacking other pedals onto the HBOD AND keep my buffer/boost capability.
Well, size constraints have dictated that I can't fit both my HBOD and the Moollon onto my board. The size of the HBOD Dlx is perfect, though!
First, I ABed the Dlx with the standard HBOD using my Loop Master to switch back and forth. With the stock trim pot setting, I could barely discern a difference. Perhaps slightly more gain on the Dlx, but I could very well be fooling myself. At the stock setting, I think it has just about the right amount of gain for my purposes. One of these days, I may get around to messing with the internal trim pot, but I'm happy for now.
The BPB downstream is a great addition for a volume increase and works very well with my other pedals for solo boosting. Probably no big surprises in this setup since most of you guys are familiar with the HBOD and boosts. It's just a great package. And with the Loop Master I can take the buffer out of the signal chain if I really want to.
