Maybe a fuzz pedal with different diodes, like a couple Germanium and either an LED or FET and instead of the fuzz increasing linear as you turn CW, the peak fuzz would be at 12 o'clock and would be an even mix of the different diodes. As you turn CCW from 12 mix would move to only use the Ge diode and as you move CW from 12 mix would move to only use the LED or FET diode. Don't necessarily need to use those types of diodes, but whichever ones would blend really well at the 12 o'clock spot. Like 3 sweet BJF fuzz pedals in one 8)

Well come to think of it thats what the PPF was created for and a safer more mainstream version of the CAF ....hmmmm

What I thinking about would be a little different, I think. Bought a PPF, but it hasn't arrived yet, so can't say for sure.

By using different diodes and having it built like I was talking about, you could have a vintage fuzz tone at full CCW, a modern fuzz tone at full CW, and a combination of the two at 12 o'clock. Sort of like a PPF and a FRF in one fuzz pedal.

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but I'd vote for a flanger. I have a TZF and it's way too big and too complicated. Knowing Bjorn's genius, he could harness just as much mojo with a small box and 3-4 knobs.

just typing aloud.....

stereo outputs on a sbeq (for end of chain)

possibly a stereo out sbeq and rrb in one housing (rrb first, sbeq last)...how about them apples???

drd into fuzz, two pedals in one housing,...matched tone, any old 'sputtery, buzzy, fill up the room with warm fuzz tone' fuzz will do...

how about a BPB into a HB, matched tone, oh wait........

flanger--------   three bulbs says, heck yeah and please please..

but since there is none YET, i had to order a montgomery flanger from (whoismarykelly on tgp)... carry on, peace

Hey fugot,

That Montgomery Flanger ... that's the clone of the old AD/A, right?

I've been curious about that one. How do you like it?

Doc :)
