BJFE Honey Bee "Humper" - What was it?

Postby zhivago » Tue Mar 28, 2017 4:12 pm

Hey guys,

it has been a bit slow here lately, so I thought I'd pull up some photos from my archives and talk about a rare BJFE pedal. :pedallove

I never owned this, but saw the pics and thought it looked cool. :love10

So, what was the BJFE Honey Bee "Humper" Custom One-Off? :)

Did anyone here own it?

That was a custom painted Purple Humper, which was a mid-Boost.

Another one of Bjorn's wonderful one knob wonders !

Very cool! 8)

what amps do you use it with?

Are there particular guitars it likes more than others?

It works well with Fender amps, but I use it with Marshall's too. The little red trebler is a must for a Marshall amp !

I used it mostly with strats. It has a great full boost effect, even though it is a mid-boost.

Absolutely love the Humper!! Here is my One Control PH.. listen to what it does to a telecaster!
