I can't review it until I've had more time with it. Mine has the bias control and I'm glad it does as it makes the pedal's variety of tones and feel seem nearly limitless. :pedallove And, I'm talking limitless great tones not just variety. I first tested it after pulling it out of the mailbox and tried to warm it a bit while I put a battery in and I noticed it wasn't gooped. The pedal was rather microphonic as well as very loud when pushing the footswitch and wondered if that was the reason? I tried it today (note my music room is around 57F) and it seemed better so hopefully it was just the cold.

I have two other MKI clones that have the correct transistors (which still sound a bit different) so it will be interesting to compare them.

I will report more next week as we are gone skiing this weekend so I will be playing through my iPad sans external effects.

Hi There,

Yes on sparkle spree here :)

Right well the Bone Bender has a lot of output and that can cause level changes.

Check also my views on the transistors used in the Bone Bender in the Sparkle Face research thread.

Yes I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on how the Bone bender compares to your other benders.

have great fun skiing!

Hi There,

That depends on the fuzz but for the germaniums I'd stay at 12 or below....

Have fun

The Bone Bender I have (Mk1 with bias knob) is an incredible pedal in my humble opinion. A belter. I can't stop playing it.
