Well thats part of it --- but also IF it would be nice to expand the level of discussion we have here to other brands and builders to promote a useful community that has been squashed derailed by some big pages....
BUT can that be done without ruining this place.....

Im thinking out loud and appreciate any other thoughts pro and con ........ 8)

If somebody is good with words (Donner?), might be an appropriate poll to run and lets get some votes...Just a thought.

I like the intimate, honest and respectful nature of this forum. Sometimes less is more. We all share an interest in Bjorn's designs and that is why we are here. I say, let it grow naturally.

Ok I think I see where this is heading :)

We should probably just leave this unique place the way it is and just allow wider discussions as they come up......

and open a different Fullservice forum if thats warranted........

Heres the other side of the situation. If this place gets to be the perfect/preffered place for BJF fans and we all spend our net time in here - then the 'other' places dont get 'serviced' ......

Bottom line - because of my work with the Customshop Im considered a manufacturer and I can only answer direct questions on the general boards, I dont get to have an opinion anymore :? (they even tried the same with Craise because of the Tshirts )

So - the point is I dont want this place to suck all the BJF fans and talk from the other boards, it might be fun but in the end it would do more harm than good ..... so please continue to express your opinions on other boards even if you dont see me or BJ on there - it is important in the big picture.

No problem, Donner!

I visit TGP and other boards just as much as here.

To be honest, I would frequent other boards even more if you, BJ and others on the manufacturing side would post more often. I'm sure there are others that feel the same. Your opinions are welcome as far as I'm concerned. I think too many rules on some boards can get in the way.

...ditto....

I think I understand a bit more now that I did when I first read this thread earlier this morning.

I think this Forum, by the nature of the quality of the ones who contribute, will grow exponentially over time if we do nothing more than what we are doing now.

Certainly wouldn't want a bunch of silly rules to limit success in terms of R&D or marketing. Guess we should all share in other Forums when possible and spread the good word!!

Thanks for all your work Donner, BJ, and Eva....Merry Christmas to all of you!!

Do whatever needs to be done, Donner. I believe the quality and uniqueness of Bjorn's pedals will always shine through, no matter what happens to this forum or any others. Of course, this is a biased view and I know nothing about how this stuff actually works, so I'd happily leave any decisions in your capable hands and continue to spread the good word wherever I may be posting.

Is it TGP being discussed here BTW? I've had the odd pm question my objectivity regarding BJ's pedals, based soley on the fact that I stash a load of clips on a site or two and post them for discussion.

Que Sera, Sera!

Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!
