This looks interesting... Guess Bjorn found some more NOS parts?

I would really like to know more about this one. Are the bass and treble knobs passive or active? Still great on 12 volts? Is it the same pedal or another beast altogether?

I ended up buying one and I got it last night -

It's definitely a BBOD, at least to my memory. I've had a couple others. This one has a LOT more output on tap. It also seems a little darker and I like running the treble a little higher around 2:00 (which is rare for me). The bass knob is subtle but definitely adds some lows and low mids.

I haven't tried running it on 12V, only 9V so I'll have to give that a shot.

I bought 4K version earlier this year from Custom Sounds (local dealer) -- they got 10 units, and four of them were 4K, all of them sold within minutes. Mine is actually little different than one from Berfootfx: bass control is at left and treble is at right side. Bass control is actually bass/low mid cut if you go clockwise. They guys at Custom Shop actually verified it with Björn and it was supposed to do that. I guess specs have somewhat changed.

Are all these new BBOD's the same as the originals? Or have "similar components" been found/used?

I believe there are "v1" circuits (first 218) and "v2" circuits starting with #219. As I understand it, the current production ones are all "v2" circuits including the 4k versions and are made in similar fashion to the previously discontinued v2's.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.
