Not necessarily as there are variations because they are just that.. hand made

Some photos would help here!

thanks AK47!!!!!!

i have to say that is my first BJFE pedal............to be honest for the price i would have expetted somthing more...

but i also have to say that i'm comparing Honey BEE with another amazing Pedal that is the BRILLIANCE UNIT by Giuseppe Orlando.

Giuseppe Orlando is a genius who lives in SICILY (ITALY)

it is not only a pedal but i would say that is an amp before the amp!!!

it has 2x12ax7 (Pre) and 1x 3a5 (power) tubes........all components are NOS from the 60's or 70's

he made just 20 of this in the world, beacuse the components have been finished after this.......

of course if you look the picture in the brilliance you could insert 6 HONEY BEE pedals!!!!!!!!!!

Wow.. That is big.. Must be that fertile sicilian volcanic soil huh?

Give the HB a chance.. The feel in the fingers when it pushes a pushed amp is something very special.. How are you using it after the Orlando? I imagine they would work well together

i'm playing them individually..........playing the same riff....

this is the only scientific method that can be able to compare two pedals.......i think......

the orlando is more defined and transparence........maybe that the HONEy BEE (if it is not a fake :laughing7 :laughing7 :)) ahahahah)

is really good pedals if played lonely..........i should try to hear just it........anyway i found it very sensible to the fingers and very quiet,

very pleasable when push working with other pedals.....so great job and great padal of course.......the brilliance is an amp! not a Pedal!

Hi Michele,
it looks like a real BJFE to me as well.

Its like you are trying to compare pineapples and oranges:)
the big one is actually a small tube amp in a box.
the Honey Bee is a pedal.
the most touch sensitive and warm sounding low to mid gain pedal (my own experience).
spend some time with the Honey HB's nature knob.. I would suggest settings between ccw-11o'clock..depends on the amp:)
or if you are disappointed just sell it:)

+1 on Boneheads comments.. I imagine those two pedals would stack very interestingly into a clean amp
