Purple Humper and the Honey Bee

Forgive me if this has been asked, but is there any overlap/similarity to the mid boost of the Humper and the mids of the Honey Bee (any version)?

I have not had a true HBOD in some time, but my Honey Beeatch boosts the low end and is far lower than PH's mid hump. The SBEQ's Bass knob is closer to the frequency of the Honey Beeatch. I still have not found anything that the PH can't make better and the PH alone into a driving single volume amp is a thing of aural beauty!

The other thing to know is not all PHs are exactly the same. The earliest ones, about 8 of them iirc, are a bit saggier than the more recent versions (which I have). The old ones sound great anywhere between 9 and 18 Volts and the newer versions sound more like the old PHs at 18 Volts. The newest ones started out a really cool purple and the red faded out fast! It is now like a very light transparent blue. For my rig running at higher Voltages raises the resonance peak where I do not need anything boosted.
