Yeah bill, excellent video. It would've seemed intimidating at first but after seeing that anyone would feel comfortable doing it.

Thanks again for the video. I cleaned my LGW today and I'm happy to say it's totally fixed and the issue is resolved. Your video gave me the confidence and the know how to do it myself.

Thanks for taking the time out to make it happen, and thanks to Bjorn for his instructions on how to resolve the issue.

resurrecting this to say that the same principle applies to the on/off slider switches on old big muffs. just repaired a rams head switch with the same issues. :thumbup:

I had some issues with a pedal and remembered the advice on this thread about the footswitch, soooooooooooooooooo......... WOW! Super easy to do and it took care of all of the crackling and feedback that I was suddenly experiencing.. Thanks!
