I like that name...

I didn't know that the HB favored p-90's or HB's? Where is a good spot for the Nature knob to get a thicker rhthym drive with a tele. The dynamics are there in spades, but it seems a little brighter than I had anticipated(the EGDM is darker than what I remembered my first one being too). Sorry for the irrelevent pedal post

Turn the HB nature knob from Noon to t he left to fatten it up...the HB was designed on P90s (BJs favortie pickup)

Remember the EGDM has a trimmer inside for the treble

I don't know if the EGDM needs to be brighter, or If I'm just not used to the type of compression it puts on. My first one seemed brighter and more aggressive, this one while not as in your face does put in more of a cranked Voxy flavor...almost Brian May-like on it's own sans treble boost. If I do tweak the internal trimmer...which way should I turn to add a little more treble/upper mids/sparkle(?). Sorry again for the thread jack.

The treble change on the EGDM internal trimmer should be fairly obvious, also what numer is yours ?? Do you remember the number of your other one ???

also the Voice control rolls off a bit of treble as it goes up - like Vox amp does after it slips into distortion - so you may want to also roll the voice control back to bring back some treble and then adjust the trimmer at the same time....... there quite a bit of vriation available...... yeah i gues this could be a different thread eh? maybe you shold start one on EGDM tweekage and usage ....

Theres Two guitar tracks:

The 'Solos' track is all SWF, the second solo kicks in the Honey Bee after the SWF (Stack) for the more liquid tone

The second/rhythym guitar track is Honey Bee

Bass has BlueBerry Bass OD direct in

all dynamic volume/distortion changes are pick attack alone ...

its pretty rough but you can here what the fuzz sounds like anyway

What were the settings on the SWF for this track?

Hey Don, is there any change from the first SWF to these? I just noticed the one of the first page has a "Nature" control, while these have a "Tone" control. Is that just a labelling thing?

Is the middle one a non-customshop model?

Wow, you guys have keen eyes. I never even noticed the tone vs. nature or the lack of the "customshop" label on the middle one.

Impressed!

had a little time to spend with the SWF,
settings were:
Vol 10
Nature 5(full CW)
Fuzz (full CW)

Tele>pedals>MP amp

A very dynamic pedal indeed. Sensitive to the touch and from the guitars volume. With one pedal setting it can go from a clean distinct note finger pickin to a big grinding open fuzz sound and lots of goodness in between.
I started off on 9v and then went to 18v. Im really like it with 18 v.
,,the Nature had more clarity thoughout and the useable range for me grew. The control with the guitars volume knob seemed to blend smoother, more gradual too. It also allowed the lower vol settings on the guitar to become clearer and overall more useable, allowed for even cleaner tones that at 9V
One could almost leave on all the time as it could go thru clean, clean boost, OD, dist,,up to big Fuzz.
this one is sure to become a classic! :D

Our geekery knows no bounds!

I also noticed, the "W" on the pedals looks like a pair of boobies. 8)
