I interpreted B4 as the 4 knob bee. Lots of exciting BF releases happening this year.

Aren't there already several 4-knob bees? Or is this for getting the OG darker tones and the modern less dark but still awesome tones in one pedal?
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

BF currently offers a 3 knob Honey Bee and a 4 knob Honey Beest. I assumed the future B4 would be a 4 knob Honey Bee (w/o the extra gain offered by the Honey Beest). Not sure what the 4th knob would control. And I could be totally wrong...this is all conjecture on my part.

I've got vague recollections of Donner posting about releasing another Bee version. It was connected to the Homey Beeatch release I think because that was a research release aimed at combining the OG Bee and the brighter versions in one pedal wasn't it?

Looks like one of the blacks G's is on eBay at the moment. Anyone here the seller?

Hi Guys,

This is my first post! I just bought the Model G on the ebay from StevenD 33. Looking forward to trying the pedal when it arrives! Can I ask about the Model G's history? I've been trying to find the information from the forums but its' really rare! Can someone please enlighten me how did the Model G start and is it an evolution from the honeybee?

Thanks!!

well the short answer is the G stands for Gibson and it is based on the sound of old Gibson amps --- The G and HB are cousins like the Supro and Gibson amps are sonically ....

From the Library section:

Model G (MG) - Models the sound of the Gibson GA-40. These are extremely rare and usually come in hand-painted gold enclosures. Some other individual pedal differences are:
- There is one "10th Anniversary" Gunner black and gold pedal to celebrate 10 years of BJFE - this pedal resides in China.
- There is an early version that has paint on the sides but has a bare, non-painted top; BJ refers to this as the "face-off" pedal.
- Serial number #007 is completely painted in gold, with no black pattern like others, and has "BJFE License to thrill" on the front and BJFE License to thrill" written on the backplate.
The backplate is a drawing of Oliver, BJs wonderful dog.
