BearFoot anniversary ~~~~

The Shark SBEQ arrived a couple of days ago and it sounds really great! My #23 SBEQ by Bjorn has started getting noisy on the footswitch, so I compared them side by side and they are different, but both do the job their own way. When I get time (like that will happen) I will do a little write up on a compare/contrast between the two. I'll just say that I did have a more recent BJFE that had a lot more in common with the Bearfoot, so maybe it was a decided upon component change.

Yeah the SBEQ is another one that wasnt originally for widespread production ... later after he'd made a number of them Bjorn recalibrated it so the controls were about unity at noon -- later/ccurrent ones are this way --- an earlier one would just be functional ... should make the same sounds in different knob positions....... let us know what you find !!

I really like having the bass at unity around 9:00 on my old SBEQ. LOTS of bassy goodness.
