I'm excited to see what's up with the 4th knob.

Heck yeah, I'm excited. CAF with a Treble knob... perfect for my rig. I'm buying one for sure. I'll be very happy to have it back on the pedalboard!

I am hoping for some top end control with the 4th knob! When I had a CAF it was fun to play around with, but it was a step or two brighter than anything else I have so I had to let it go. Sadly it is the only BJFE fuzz I have tried (I think). My Model R has kicked my EGDM4k down to second place as my go-to dirt pedal, so I keep thinking about the Model R fuzz. I do not know if it is still available as I might even consider selling my EGDM3k and MHvT to raise the funds.

I felt the same way about the CAF, so sold it...

I think the SRF is still for sale... $700, last I saw. I would've liked to have had it, but alas...too much money for me at the moment.

i snagged the SRF a couple of days ago, sorry! i'm pumped to try it out, i missed the UPS guy for delivery yesterday. hopefully i'll catch him on monday.

back on topic - the BF CAF looks pretty awesome. adding a treble knob was a an excellent idea. i have a BJFE version and it is one of my favorite fuzzes. lots of wild sounds to be had.

Yes, I had the same problem with it being too bright and sold it after several months. It was great but always thought it needed a tone knob. So now i'm really excited about the Bearfoot version. It was a truly versatile and awesome fuzz!

Mine arrived today though too late to really play it at a reasonable volume. Still, I like what I am hearing and the knobs are very effective. I forgot the CAF does a close approximation of a Tonebender MKIII with the Nature knob between 3 and 5:30.

If all goes well I should have a bit of time in the morning to crank it through my different amps. I suppose we should start a new thread for CAF reviews and opinions.
