Yes, I have read about them and have been curiously waiting for somebody to post their review. There is very little info out there and for us in the US, it is quite expensive to try them.

Well I got to try them quickly this weekend! My first impressions are that they are very veyr quiet, and mesh incredibly well with high gain pedals! A lot more than the lollars do ( they don't!). Aside from that they are definitely more versatile than the lollars are. You can play jazz stuff, blues rock , hard rock with them without problem. They are also NOT high output pickups. I think the lollars may be slightly hotter than these are as far as output goes. The lollars do do some thing better than the BJFE/lundgren set but are not nearly as versatile.

First impressions folks!

Wow, awesome! by reading the description it sounds like they would be exactly what I like in my Strat....more balanced, less weak bridge pickup, versatile & quiet. I really may give them a try. Bjorn knows what sounds good for sure.

They are balanced indeed! And the bridge pickup is certainly NOT weak :)

well after having them for a month I can clearly say that these pickups are best used for getting gainier sounds on a strat. I mean my Lollars sound great clean but add a little distorion and forget about it. These pickups would definitely do the trick in those situations as I have yet t listen to a pickup set that sounds better, cleaner with gain on a strat then this one!

That being said I do prefer the cleans with the lollars. With the low end of the gain side (MG, HBOD, etc..) Its a toss up. There are similarities and i like both sets really. But when you go for the heavier gain with the MH, CH2, etc.. then there is no comparison, the BJFE set is by and far the clear winner. So it goes without saying that this set will make a strat go head to head with a les paul though I don't currently have one to compare (used to though). The bridge pickup is also MUCH MUCH more useful than with the lollars. I hardly used to use the bridge pickup at all now I found myself using it more and more.

So if you'd like to go for higher gain sounds with your strat, this may definitely be a pickup set at the top of your list. Its quiet, balanced, and sounds amazing distorted.
