BBOD love affair

Just had a wonderful time with a little stack I discovered...

Strat >> BBOD >> Tube Driver >> AC30

I am sure the number of people able to replicate this or a similar stack is quite small, but if anyone wants to and can try it, THEY SHOULD! Cranked amp tones at reasonable volume. Very EJ-ish. Creamy and warm. ::eeewwwww::

I certainly think Bjorn's BBOD creation is a beauty.


My current dirt section, which has changed quite recently -- and it has not changed in quite some time, is as follows:

BBOD (12V) >> MH >> Timmy >> Tube Driver

This is quite fun for my little take-along board. I have a PGC, Empress Phaser, Delay and SBEQ alongside these dirty guys. I have enjoyed the reduced burden of transporting a heftier rig and having to set it all up. It sure does the trick!


If anyone has any suggestions of how to spice this up, please let me know. I have a fair amount of substitutes I could rotate around if needed.

I like Klon (Frederic Effects klone) -> BBOD -> Tym Tone Boost.

I've got an early version BBOD so running the boost after it gives me the extra volume it needs plus more EQ. BBOD -> KOT isn't too bad either.
