As people get their Honey Bairs it will be interesting to see much everyone likes them, or not. I had Musicsoma's MG here when my Beeatch arrived and I felt it compared favorably and kept up nicely.

Don't you think you are putting that pink sunscreen a bit too heavy on the Bee-aby?

The green hue you see is what I also see in person. I was very surprised to see the difference between the early bee and my later production bee -- which is more caramel in color.

The Honey Bair is wonderful. I have not compared it with my Model G, but in my head, I imagine the Model G to be vastly difference in its richness, mid-character and harmonic complexity. While the Bair can probably keep up with the Model G as a top-notch low-gain option, I find the Bair to be distinctively HBOD in character. I really like that it covers about every HBOD-esque tone I could want.

Not sure about the intent of the sunscreen comment, but I wish I would have applied more at the lake today.

Cheers!

When I looked at your HB collection there was also a photo of a baby (or as Bob Marly says Bee-aby) with a face full of pink frosting. My oldest is 7.6 and the twins are just 4 and it seems a lifetime ago that they looked like that! No harm intended!

No problem whatsoever! She is not mine, though. The daughter of a close friend, and that picture was from her first birthday! I had no clue what you were referencing, so I did not know how to respond. Your comment is clear as day now.

I will have to put up some of my older photos if there are some interested in photography here. I have been privileged enough to travel the world. There are many places I would still like to go, but I have seen a lot. If there is interest, I will compile an album. 8)

Their blonde bee-aby is pretty cute!

Cheers.

I am always up for great photos! Most of my best are on slide film as that was what I was shooting until the kids came.
