Folk Boost Kit

Postby mmolteratx » Tue May 29, 2012 4:14 pm

Hey guys, we're setting up a Folk Boost kit implementing Bjorns Folk Buffer/Boost on one board. Looks like Donner is gonna be finishing the enclosures in one of his sig finishes and we need to get a head count so he can start painting boxes next month when he's got some free time. Price should be comparable to similar DIY kits out there, maybe even a bit less depending on how many are interested and what prices I can get on components. If interested, please reply here with how many you'd like. If you want to discuss, I'd ask that you do it in the original thread so that I can keep the interested number organized.

Only need boards and boxes but will take full kits of necessary
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

I want one as well, or I'll take two if they are not too expensive. I use two boards, and it would be nice to have a spare in the event the first run at the build doesn't go well. If both are successful, I can simply put the 2nd on my other board.

Passive components should be ~$10 tops for all of them (save pots, which will be an extra $3 tops). Switch will be $4 tops. Jacks might be $4 for both plus $1 for the power jack. Wire would be maybe $1 per pedal. PCBs will probably be $5 or so in the quantities we'd be looking at. Donner will have to chime in on the enclosure/knob/extra stuff costs.
