Research and Tourboxes

Postby ak47 » Sun May 27, 2012 7:11 am

I love the idea of research boxes and tour boxes and as I have a discerning ear, I would very much like to be involved! I am a little unsure how this works though... from scanning some threads I get a few different ideas:

1...it is a bit of a lottery (1st in 1st served right!?!)
2...you need to get in fast ''on a monday'' if a new one is up for testing ... yeah, like I said.. lottery
3...they usually go out to the 'regular testers' as well (makes sense.. they know these pedals, and some are probably DIY'ers too..)
4...the research is mostly done in the US... Is this correct?

How is it with videos and audio clips of these R&D boxes? Open to the community :music or a bit hush hush :silent: ?

Perhaps put up a sticky to make things clear...? Thanks!

Thanks! I have been reading around and trying to get a rough idea of how it all works and I guess it is a matter of keeping ones eyes open and remaining active... I just thought it would be cool with a guide here somewhere (the stickies & library here are great sources of info IMO!) :pedallove
