Well ok, the mystery green pedal isnt too far off . .... nor is the oracle of equalization ....

But the Yellow has jumped to the front of the line .... and brought the DRD with it ....

BJ has mentioned a couple times of the prospect of BearFoot doing the DRD like the first ones ~ like it was originally - which I didnt think too much of because the very first like 4 or 5 of them where a little softer and a little less gain ....

But he was talking about something else --- apparantly originally the DRD had 4 knobs. And there were 4 or 5 of them made (tho I have never seen one) - but he couldnt find anymore of those odd specd pots so it became the 3 knobber that we all know and love ...... the 4th knob is a low mids knob that goes a little minus but mostly adds low mids pregain....
And apparantly this is even more effective on the SY circuits as on low gain you can beef up the lows and since its pregain it is also interactive with the drive knob and content.... should make all three more versatile...

Im telling you this now as I want people to have the choice before hand without getting stuck with something they wish theyd waited for ....

Some will just want the simplicity of the SY 1 or 2 in the original 3 knob versions --- some will have use for the 4 knobbers and there will also be the version with both 3 knob versions on the rotary ....
Yes we could end up with 5 SYODs and a new DRD in the next couple months .... as well as EQ and mystery greens ... there may also be a run of some of the 1 knobbers if there is interest....and along the way getting set up for fuzz production (emerald green and baby blue are also sort of repurposed fuzzes at their hearts along with the actual fuzzes)

I am fortunate enough to own a 4 knob DRD, and let me just say it is AMAZING! I have been stacking it into my HBOD. The beauty of this is total EQ control. The DRD handles the mids and treble, and I use the Nature knob on the HBOD to bring out the bass. It has become one of my all-time favorite stacks. Even if you already have a DRD, it would be worth spending the extra coin on the 4 knobber.

Donner, I hope that eq oracle is as wonderful as I hope!

In a similar way I have really been loving the Honey Beeatch with the two tone knobs, though I have a hard time explaining exactly what they do, especially since I got the PGC.

I think the 4 knob SYOD with low mids adjustment is a killer idea! I could see having V1 & V2 eventually.

I would also be up for a Red Rooster as that is one of the ones I have sold that I really miss. I have been in a Rolling Stones mood and I miss my MH v1 as well. Do any of the Bearfoot(s) MH sound like v1? Even the Honey Beeatch at 12 Volts sags a bit too much for what I want chasing that tone.

We were just talking about MH the first ! ---- you may see a reappearance of the Klangmaster someday it really has the airmoving push of a Hiwatt stack, but is a bit too much for many ....

And yes I think the Red Rooster is the best pushing/lead boost ever, and the Baby Pink is the perfect flat/just 'more' boost and it has a just right buffer that would complete many boards ....

I am very interested in all this. I have been a vocal proponent of the SYOD since the first strum in the autumn 08 CS tourbox. I prize myself on thick dark ballsy tones. Not really intobright tones, until the SYOD. I am in for research. 4years of gigging the syod, I probably need a backup for the pt mini in my livingroom

That is great news Donner -- hopefully I'll be fortunate enough to try a couple of the SYOD's as both the rotary switch one and the one with extra low-mids control sound really useful. Thanks for the update -- can't wait to see these projects come to life!

oh I was just word playing - the Oracle of Equalization is the SBEQ it needs its own PCB, but thats in the pipeline.....

Oh yes the Honey Bairs are still coming, they are somewhere over the Atlantic, once they arrive they will need to get double clear coats and branding and then stuffing so that a few weeks off still ....

Yeah I was playingg both SYs last night alot, and really they give all the classic american tones that I love, all the tweeds and blonde brown blackface tones are in there - its Joe Walsh and George Thouroughgood and Ted Nugent and a dozen others .... its also those low/mid level crunchy marshall tones ..... its still the best daily drive in my opinion.
