Yeah maybe this is a bit confusing ,,,,

The combo pedal would have a fourth knob(actually a rotary switch) that would have 2 clicks on it - one for V1, then you could click the rotary and it would change the parts to V2 ( not unlike the FGC comp/sustain switch)

I do understand that many people might never use the other 'click/version' hmmm

A rotary 2 click knob would be cool to seperate the versions! I thought everyone was talking about the 4th knob for more tone tailoring... I rock like a neanderthal, more than one knob me confused.

Just think they look cheap and Ive had them break - and these get shipped all over the world....

Rather go to 4 knobs than an internal trimmer also --- again complete strangers buy these all over, and trimmer get set and forgotten etc.....

I much prefer the outside knob over internal trimmer especially on the od pedals.

Also agree on having trimmers on the outside if they're required to dial something in to a setup. I'm sure more than one EGDM was flipped because someone didn't know they had that internal trimmer to help dial it in to their rig

Exactly. I prefer the classic 3 knob layout --- but Id rather go four knobs than have that trimmer inside....
