Order placed. :pedallove

Do we need to add a Donner smilie next to Bjorn's one now? :)

Very much looking forward to trying this one out. I nearly pulled the trigger on a BJFE PGC on so many occasions and stopped myself with the logic that I'd wait and see if Donner released a Bearfoot version. Thumbs up Donner.

I pulled the trigger as well. Hats off to Donner for getting it up prior to "gig time." I had concerns about getting shut out. Like some of you guys, I was/am on the bjfe waitlist for the PGC. This will allow it to be at my feet earlier at a much better price. Needless to say, really looking forward to it's arrival.

Thanks Donner! Can't wait to try the PGC. This is one of a few pedals I have been wanting to try for about two years now.

cheers!

Yay! The mailman brought #4 today. Sadly I only had 5 minutes to play with it. Using my PRS SC250 with Pearly Gates through a Swart AST MKII, I noticed an improvement over the Forest Green Compressor that I used to have. The first thing I was surprised about is how silent it is, even at max compression. If memory serves me right, I think the PGC sounds warmer and less stiff than the FCG even at 9 Volts. I used to run the FGC at 12 and 18 Volts. Also note that I have never used a BJFE PGC so I can't comment on how the Bearfoot version compares.

I also had a Himmelstrutz Miss Nutrcracker for a while. It was a great comp but I ended preferring the warmness of the Effectrode.

I did not get to try the PGC alongside the Effectrode so still note sure how they compare but I think the Effectrode is a tad warmer. However, I was powering the PGC with a 9 Volts plug so i'm hoping that it will get warmer once I use higher voltage.

Has anybody else received theirs? If so, what are your thoughts?

One should be arriving in Ohio soon.
I'll be using it with an acoustic and will surely post my impressions.
