The Saturday Nights ~ new album preview track

Postby TheWarmth » Sun Dec 02, 2007 12:36 pm

Here is a link to the final, mastered version of one of the songs from my band's new album. The band is called The Saturday Nights and the album will likely be out around March or April of 2008. I only have a soundclick account for my other project, The Warmth, which may cause some confusion .... sorry about that. Anyway, listen via the "hi-fi" link and let me know what you think.

Thanks, Mike! We're doing the Empty Bottle Alex Chilton Birthday Bash on Dec. 28th. We'll be doing three Big Star songs from the Radio City album.

We're doing Subterranean in Wicker Park on Friday, January 4th. That'll be a full set, all original material, so it should be fun.

Very nice, Warmth! Good sounds and a good recording.

How does your other project differ?

FWIW, there is a band from Seattle (maybe Tacoma) called the Saturday Knights. Kinda hip hop, kinda Rock. They are really quite good.

No BJFs on this recording. The fuzzy guitar is a Skreddy Mayo, which I don't even own anymore, but was a very nice pedal.

I am aware of the Saturday Knights. They're really different from us. Sometimes people contact us thinking we're them.

The Warmth project is much more electronic, but still song-based. It's a little like the Postal Service, if any of you are familiar with them.
