That's what they say. I definitely fall in the never met a TS pedal I liked category. The LGW (which I believe is not actually a TS circuit variant) is a significant improvement over other TS types I've played, but still didn't bring joy.

Not knocking it - just personal preference. All BJF pedals are worth a try; if you hate TS but still want something of that character, perhaps it will work for you.

I don't feel like the LGW is really much like a vintage TS. I have owned quite a few vintage TS808 and TS9. The LGW doesn't have the same mid hump feel. It also doesn't have the muddiness that I hate with a TS. It has much better response, articulation, and clarity. It is the best all around overdrive and does everything well. Totally versatile.

I just picked up a SBEQ as my first proper BJFe and I am more than pleased with it! It just makes everything sound better, thicker, cleaner and more articulate. Works very well with my BF's too :)
