Sorry, but I prefer the USPS way over FedEx, UPS and so on. Lazy? It's a Federal Holiday. Do you ever take a vacation/get a holiday off?

And, no, I do not work for the USPS. I'm just sick and tired of them unfairly being made the whipping boy of right wing wackos (not saying that applies to you, Hulakatt; I'm sure you're just anxious to get your new toy!)

I've not really had any problems with UPS or FedEx for that matter nor do I actually have one with USPS beyond their refusal to update their own tracking system internally. I'm just impatient.

Fwiw, I DO work most holidays (had to work all day Christmas Eve, half of Christmas Day, New Year's Eve evening and New Year's Day morning this year. Come to think of it the only holiday I get off is Thanksgiving ) and wednesdays are my only days off from work unless I use vacay or sick days. I would be in work today as well but I spent most of it at the dentist and the pain killers leave me more than useless at work until they wear off, so 1 vacation day down this year.
